MICC

Semaglutide is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as GLP-1 receptor agonists. It is used to treat type 2 diabetes and aid in weight management.

We understand the journey of achieving your desired body weight can be challenging. A healthy diet and exercise routine are important for weight loss. However, we recognize that there are times when you may require additional assistance. That’s why we offer Methionine Inositol Choline and Cyanocobalamin (MICC) injections, a minimally invasive weight loss injection that may enhance your body’s ability to break down fat cells, leading to effective and sustainable weight loss.

What are MICC Injections?

MICC stands for Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Cyanocobalamin which are the key ingredients in these injections.

  • Methionine – is an essential amino acid that helps break down fats and prevent the buildup of cholesterol. Methionine also eliminates heavy metals from the body. These are some of the issues heavy metals can cause  (gastrointestinal and kidney dysfunction, nervous system disorders, skin lesions, vascular damage and immune system dysfunction.)  It also relieves fatigue like B12.
  • Inositol – is a B-vitamin (B8) that regulates your insulin and hormone levels.  It is a mild lipotropic that breaks down fat and lowers cholesterol and is also a mood stabilizer.
  • Choline – is a nutrient it speeds up metabolism and helps burn fat and keeps the liver healthy.
  • Cyanocobalamin (B12) – It is important for the body’s metabolism, nerve function, and production of red blood cells. It also helps in RNA and DNA production which are the building blocks of the body. They also breakdown carbohydrates and converts it to fuel producing energy.

MICC injections are also known as lipotropic injections. They contain lipotropic compounds such as Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Cyanocobalamin. These compounds work together to metabolize fat cells and remove stored fat deposits in the liver and body.

The medical professionals will inject the MICC directly into a muscle site during the treatment. The muscle sites could be the buttocks, thigh, hip, or upper arm.

During the injection, patients may experience mild discomfort. However, the pain typically subsides quickly. This allows patients to resume their daily activities immediately after treatment. Injections are given weekly for approximately three months, with the treatment plan determined based on individual needs.
